GOAL

 

To develop personnel competent and responsible for the prevention of diseases, ill health conditions and the promotion of health.

ADMISSION CONDITIONS

There are requirements that a candidate must fulfill to be admitted in the Faculty of Community Health Development. The candidate must have sat for the following required subjects at secondary school level:

  • Biology, Chemistry & Latin

  • Mathematics & Physics

  • Laboratory

  • Hygiene& Sanitation


AWARD
On completion of the four years training, the graduate will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences; abbreviated as “B.Env.H.Sc”.
TITLE OF THE GRADUAT
The successful graduate will be designated Environmental Health Officer, abbreviated as
E.H.O.
