The ICT centre has been created in response to the government policies among them :
To transform Rwandese society and economy into an information-rich, knowledge based economy
Transform education system using ICT with the main of improving accessibility and quality

Vision :To become a Centre of Excellence in our country where ICT must be the basis of modern learning and research in the health
sector.
Mission :To use ICT optimally, increase access, and endeavour to fit into the new global information and knowledge based economies.

The ICT staff are responsible of developping softwares , mentaining softwares and Hardwares among others:

• Webcampus online software for distance education and blended learning.

• Pastel evolution for finance departement
  
• KHI SIM (Student Information Management) to manage student information
  
• TES (Teaching Evaluation System)  under construction
  
• Software to produce student bagdes
  
• Training in ICT for both staff and student
  
• Help Desk and Maintenance
  
• Network administration
  
• Outreach Program (Telecentre at Nyamishaba Campus)
