KIGALI HEALTH INSTITUTE, / REGIONAL E-HEALTH CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE (REHCE), MASTER OF SCIENCE IN HEALTH INFORMATICS
Kigali Health Institute (KHI) is a public higher learning institution established by the government of RWANDA in 1996. It is committed to be a centre of excellence in training and development of health professionals and to train and improve the capacity of health workers. (REHCE) being hosted by KHI offers a Master of Science in Health Informatics and wishes to inform international interested candidates to apply. This program is a fee-paying evening program with an intake of 30 students beginning on 03nd September 2012. Registration for this intake will begin on 13th August 2012 and end on 27th August 2012.
The program is open to interested candidates who have potentials within three particular domains:
Academically, applicants will typically possess a degree in science, technology or medical/public health areas;
Technically, applicants will be required to have some experience in the use of IT in their workplace;
Contextually, applicants will be required to have at least three years experience working in a healthcare environment;
Good command of the English language.
B. CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION
To fulfill the application form available at the Central Secretariat of KHI or on its website www.khi.ac.rw;
Submission of application form together with required supportive documents from 27th June to 27th July2012 at 5: 00 pm;
Applications will be received during working hours from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Central Secretariat of KHI;
USD 10 or Rwf 5,000 application fee (non-refundable) paid to the KHI account No 5032702-01-50 in BCR, Swift code: BCRW RW RW
The fees to be paid by a student are as follows:
USD 5,000 for tuition fees for the whole program
USD 60 for Caution money for the whole program
USD 35 for Registration fee per year
NB: List of those that will meet the requirements for registration will be available on KHI Website on 03rd August 2012.
