Mission

To strive towards developing the highest standards of academic and clinical excellence.

To produce responsible innovative, critically thinking professionals committed to meeting the health needs of all communities in Rwanda appropriately and cost effectively.

Goals and Objectives:

Providing efficient support to all departments at the tertiary levels of the services delivery systems;

Providing appropriately trained manpower to deliver independently primary/ secondary services at the district hospitals and services care in the centres;

Ensuring continuing education for self, peers and other health professionals; Carrying  out operational research.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences offers programs leading to the award of Advanced Diplomas, Bachelor’s Degrees and bridging programs in the relevant disciplines as listed below:

    Advanced Diploma in Anesthesia;
    Advanced Diploma in Ophthalmology;
    Advanced Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences;
    Advanced Diploma in Orthopedic Technology;
    Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences;
    Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy;
    Bachelor of Science in Dentistry;
    Bridging Program of Anesthesia;
    Bridging Program of Physiotherapy.
