Future plans
The following are some of the department’s future plans:
- Development of partnerships with regional sister training institutions to support the training and other departmental activities
- Capacity building for both Physiotherapy staff & clinical educators at various hospitals where students go for clinical education,
- Development of students’ elective exchange program through partnership to benefit students’ academic, cultural diversity and exposure,
- Development of Bridging/Honours degree program to benefit the current diploma graduates,
- Develop and maintain consultancy & research, particularly intervention research through which among other things more facilities & equipments may be obtained
