Physiotherapy Programme
– We are currently running a Bachelor Degree programme in Physiotherapy. We have phased out Advance Diploma programme.
Admissions requirements
- Applicants holding secondary school certificates issued with “A” level and accredited by the Ministry of Education or equivalent with credits in Math, Biology, Physics and Chemistry are eligible.
Duration of the Programme
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme is a full-time course for four years with two semesters in each year. The Course is divided many Modules which will be covered in the two semesters of an academic year.
Credits
The total number of credits to be covered in each year of the program are 120 Credits.
One credit shall be equal to 10 hours of classroom/Laboratory or Clinical learning / field training.

General objectives for clinical placement
- To understand health disciplinary approach of different hospitals in primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
- To understand and participate in the multidisciplinary team.
- To apply and master the acquired knowledge in area of Traumatology, Orthopaedics, General Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Neurology, Rheumatology, Obstetrics and Gyneacology and Cardio respiratory.
- To acquire skills in using Physiotherapuetic interventions in the above areas.
- To be aware and apply professional attitude
